Coace® W5A-2 is a glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) modified polyolefin elastomer renowned for its high grafting rate and superior performance in enhancing compatibility and mechanical properties. This product is presented in white granule form, with a density of 0.88 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 3-8 g/10min (measured at 190°C with a 2.16 kg load), ensuring excellent processability. Its high glycidyl methacrylate content significantly improves bonding strength, compatibility, and toughness in various industrial applications.

Specific Applications

1. Toughener for Polyester Compounds
   Coace® W5A-2 is highly effective as a toughener for polyester and fire-retardant-filled polyester compounds, such as PET, PBT, PET/FR, and PBT/FR, enhancing impact resistance and durability.

2. Compatibilizer for Polyolefin and Polyester Alloys
   This product improves compatibility and mechanical properties in polyolefin and polyester alloy systems, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced performance.

3. Adhesive for Laminate Structures
   Coace® W5A-2 can be used as an adhesive to improve bonding in specific laminate structures, offering strong adhesion and reliable performance.
