Product Description: Coace® W1P-2

Coace® W1P-2 is a maleic anhydride functionalized ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM-g-MAH) elastomer, designed for its excellent anti-fatigue properties and aging resistance. This modified elastomer appears as white or light-yellow granules, with a density of 0.87 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 0.1-0.6 g/10min (measured at 190°C with a 2.16 kg load). Its high maleic anhydride content ensures enhanced compatibility and mechanical performance, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.

 

Specific Applications

1. Impact Modifier for Polyamides
   Coace® W1P-2 is highly effective as an impact modifier for polyamides such as PA6, PA66, and polyamide-based fire-retardant compounds masterbatch, significantly improving toughness and durability.

2. Compatibilizer for Polyamide and Polyolefin Blends
   This product improves the compatibility between polyamides and polyolefins such as polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), ensuring better mechanical properties and performance.
