Coace ® W1A-1 is an anhydride modified polyolefin elastomer with extremely lowodor and TVOC, which has low glass transition temperature characteristics.
The anhydride-modified polyolefin elastomer is a specialty polymer additive that enhances compatibility between PA and PP. It is created via a regulated chemical modification technique that adds anhydride functional groups to the polyolefin backbone. This alteration creates reactive sites that can form covalent connections with the functional groups found in both PA and PP, hence improving interfacial adhesion and compatibility.
