Coace® W1L-2 is a maleic anhydride functionalized polyethylene with high grafting rate. It is in granule form.
Our product is a chemically functionalized LLDPE with a high grafting rate of maleic anhydride, a reactive group able to create covalent connections with different substrates. Granule form allows for simple integration into current production systems, so guaranteeing constant dispersion and best performance.
Perfect for its flexibility, durability, and chemical resistance is Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). But because LLDPE is non-polar, combining it with other materials in coextrusion or compounding can prove difficult. Designed to address these difficulties, our Chemical Functionalized LLDPE Coupling Agent & Coextrusion Adhesion Modifier offers a dependable and professional solution to increase interfacial adhesion and thereby improve the general performance of polymer systems.

Application

Typical Application

1. To be used as coupling agent for polyethylene based compounds, like LSZH cable compounds, WPC compounds,etc. 
2. To be used as bonding strength in coextrusion processes between polyethylene or ethylene copolymers and different materials, like polyamides, EVOH, etc. It is can be diluted by LLDPE, or LDPE.
3. To be used as a impact modifiers for polyamide conditions.
