Coace® W1G-2

Coace® W1G-2 is an anhydride-modified Styrene-Ethylene-Butylene-Styrene (SEBS) elastomer that offers excellent stability, aging resistance, and superior performance as an impact modifier and compatibilizer. This product appears as white or light-yellow granules, with a density of 0.89 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 0.1-1.0 g/10min (measured at 190°C with a 5 kg load), ensuring its versatility and ease of processing. Its moderate maleic anhydride content enhances compatibility, bonding strength, and mechanical properties in various polymer systems.

Specific Applications

1. Impact Modifier for Polyamide and Composite Compounds
   Coace® W1G-2 is highly effective as an impact modifier for polyamide-based materials such as PA6, PA66, and flame-retardant polyamides (PA/FR), significantly improving impact resistance and toughness.

2. Compatibilizer for Polyester Blends
   This product is widely used as a compatibilizer in polyester blending compounds, including PC/ABS blends, enhancing compatibility and ensuring superior mechanical performance.
