Coace® W5A-2 is a glycidyl methacrylate modified polyolefin elastomer with high grafted rate.
The glycidyl methacrylate-modified polyolefin elastomer, used as a toughener for polyester fire retardant-filled composites, has numerous multidimensional properties. Its increased toughness, great compatibility, flame retardancy, and thermal stability make it an attractive option for a variety of sectors. Characteristic


1.Flame Retardancy: The glycidyl methacrylate modification does not affect the filled polyester's intrinsic flame retardant characteristics. The toughener improves overall fire safety by maintaining or strengthening the material's flame resistant properties.

2. Thermal Stability: The modified polyolefin elastomer is very thermally stable, allowing fire retardant-filled materials to survive high temperatures without considerable deterioration. This stability is critical for applications that require resistance to heat and fire.
