Coace® W5F - High Epoxy Content Functionalized Polyolefin Masterbatch

Coace® W5F is a chemically functionalized masterbatch based on a polyolefin base resin. It is characterized by its high glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) content, low glass transition temperature, and excellent performance in enhancing compatibility and mechanical properties in various industrial applications. The product appears as white granules with a density of 0.89 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 10-18 g/10min (measured at 190°C with a 2.16 kg load), ensuring superior processability and ease of use.

Specific Applications

Toughener for Polyester and Fire-Retardant Filled Polyester
Coace® W5F is widely used as a toughener for polyester-based materials, including PET, PBT, PET/FR, and PBT/FR, significantly improving their impact resistance and mechanical properties.

Compatibilizer for Polyolefin and Polyester Alloys
This product serves as an effective compatibilizer in polyolefin and polyester blends, enhancing interfacial adhesion and overall material performance.
