Maleic anhydride modified polypropylene is a kind of polypropylene in which maleic anhydride (MAH) is grafted onto the polypropylene backbone. The high MAH grafting rate on the polypropylene matrix ensures that a large number of functional groups are available for interaction. This alteration produces a copolymer with much higher polar properties than ordinary polypropylene.
