Coace® W1A-2 is an anhydride modified polyolefin elastomer known for its high grafting rate with maleic anhydride. This elastomer is characterized by its white granular appearance and has a density of 0.87 g/cm³. It features a melt flow rate of 0.3-1.0 g/10min (measured at 190°C with a 2.16 kg load), indicating its processability. The high content of maleic anhydride enhances its functional properties, making it suitable for various industrial applications.

Specific Applications:

Impact Modifier for Polyamide Compounds:

Coace® W1A-2 is used to improve the impact resistance of polyamide materials, including PA6 and PA66, as well as their fire-retardant variants.

Compatibilizer for Polyamide and Polyolefin Blends:

It serves as an effective compatibilizer, facilitating the blending of polyamide with polypropylene or polyethylene to form stable alloys with improved compatibility and mechanical properties.

Enhancer for Fire Retardant Compounds:
