High Grafting Rate Compatibilizer for Polyolefin and Polyester Alloys

Coace ® W5D is an glycidyl methacrylate modified polyolefin elastomer with highgrafting rate.
Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) has been used to modify the polyolefin elastomer W5D, giving it exceptional flame retardant qualities and a high grafting rate. Higher polarity and reactivity in the material result from the introduction of the highly polar reactive group GMA into the polyolefin main chain. This enhances the material's flame retardant performance and compatibility with other polyester materials.
With a high glycidyl methacrylate grafting rate, our Glycidyl Methacrylate Modified Polyolefin Elastomer is a sophisticated polymeric additive. By adding reactive epoxy groups, this modification enhances adhesion and compatibility by allowing polyester to establish covalent connections with it.

Characteristic

3. Groups of Reactive Glycidyl Methacrylate: Due to the strong reactivity of the glycidyl methacrylate groups, our modifier can form chemical bonds with polyester and polyolefin, improving interfacial adhesion and compatibility.
