Epoxy Functionalized Anti-PID Additive for Photovoltaic EVA Film

RM2320 is a glycidyl methacrylate grafted polymer having an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer matrix and a white translucent granular appearance.
One crucial job of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer) film in the photovoltaic sector is to shield solar cells from the environment. But a big issue ailing the solar sector has always been the PID (electroluminescence induced degradation) phenomena. Glycidyl Methacrylate Grafted Polymer (GMA grafted polymer) is a novel kind of epoxy functionalized anti-PID additive that we have introduced to address this issue.
Effective inhibition of the PID phenomena is achieved by GMA graft polymer by mixing epoxy groups with methacrylate. Study indicates that solar module stability and lifetime can be greatly increased by using GMA graft polymer in EVA film.
