Coace ® BP-2 is a glycidyl methacrylate modified Poly (butyleneadipate-coterephthalate) with high grafting rate.
Potential uses for poly (butylene adipate-co-terephthalate) (PBAT) biodegradable polymer span many sectors. Still, the combination of biodegradable materials with conventional fillers and the necessity for better mechanical qualities present serious difficulties. Our product is a high grafting rate glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) modified PBAT, a special polymeric additive offering a reactive platform for coupling with different biodegradable materials. Enhanced mechanical characteristics and processability follow from better interfacial adhesion and dispersion made possible by the GMA modification.
