Product Description: Coace® BF320
Coace® BF320 is a maleic anhydride functionalized polyethylene resin designed for excellent adhesion performance and compatibility in various industrial applications. This product is supplied as white or light-yellow granules, with a density of 0.93 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 2.0-5.0 g/10min (measured at 190°C with a 2.16 kg load). Its high maleic anhydride content ensures superior grafting efficiency, making it an ideal choice for enhancing bonding strength, improving compatibility, and optimizing mechanical properties in a wide range of polymer systems.
Specific Applications
1. Coupling Agent for Polyolefin-Based Compounds
Coace® BF320 is an effective coupling agent in polyolefin-based compounds, such as glass fiber-reinforced polyethylene and other composite materials. It improves interfacial adhesion, resulting in enhanced mechanical strength and performance.
2. Adhesion Promoter in Coextrusion Processes
Coace® BF320 enhances adhesion between polyethylene or its copolymers and polar materials, such as polyamides, EVOH, or aluminum foil. It is particularly suitable for multilayer coextrusion films and packaging applications, ensuring strong bonding and durability in demanding environments.
