Coace® W1C-1 is a maleic anhydride polyolefin with special formula treatment.A unique polyolefin copolymer containing maleic anhydride, the Maleic Anhydride Polymer Modifier is designed to function as an impact modifier for polyamide, improving its characteristics and broadening its range of applications.
Our Maleic Anhydride Polymer Modifier is a polyolefin that has been chemically functionalized and contains a significant amount of maleic anhydride. The performance of the polymer matrix is enhanced overall by this special formulation, which offers a reactive platform capable of forming covalent connections with polyamide.
1. Groups of Reactive Maleic Anhydride: Our modifier's strong reactivity, which results from the presence of maleic anhydride groups, enables it to form a chemical bond with polyamide and enhances interfacial adhesion and compatibility.This copolymer can significantly enhance the mechanical characteristics and crystallisation behaviour of polyamide because of its exceptional compatibility and dispersion.
2. Increased Impact Potency: Our solution acts as an impact modifier, greatly increasing polyamide materials' resistance to impact, increasing their durability and reducing their susceptibility to fracture under stress.
3. Enhanced Capability to Process: By adding our modifier, polyamide compounds' melt viscosity is decreased, making processing and extrusion simpler and increasing manufacturing efficiency.
4.Improved Stability of Heat: Our product helps polyamide compounds remain thermally stable, which makes them suitable for use in high-temperature applications.
5. Low temperature of glass transition (Tg): Because of its low glass transition temperature (Tg), which is less than -50°C, MAH-g-PPO modified polyamide can withstand low temperatures while still maintaining good flexibility and impact strength.
6. Improved mechanical characteristics: The mechanical parameters of the modified polyamide exhibit notable enhancements, such as remarkable bending strength, elevated impact strength, and commendable fatigue resistance.
