Polyolefin elastomers are specialised materials that increase the impact resistance and toughness of PA6 polymers. They are created by grafting anhydride functional groups onto a polyolefin elastomer backbone. This alteration improves the compatibility of the elastomer with the PA6 matrix, resulting in better dispersion and adherence within the polymer blend.
