Product Description: Coace® W5A

Coace® W5A is a glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) modified polyolefin elastomer (POE-g-GMA) with a high grafting rate, offering excellent performance as a toughener, compatibilizer, and adhesive. This product appears as white granules and is known for its outstanding compatibility improvement and enhanced toughness in polyester-based applications. With a density of 0.88 g/cm³ and a melt flow rate of 3-8 g/10min (measured at 190°C with a 2.16 kg load), Coace® W5A ensures superior processability and versatility in demanding industrial uses.

Specific Applications

1. Toughener for Polyester Compounds
   Coace® W5A is highly effective as a toughener for polyester-based compounds, such as fire-retardant filled PET and PBT (PET/FR, PBT/FR), significantly improving impact resistance and durability.

2. Compatibilizer for Polyolefin and Polyester Alloys
   This product enhances interfacial adhesion and dispersion in polyolefin and polyester alloy blends, ensuring improved mechanical and structural properties.

3. Adhesive for Laminate Structures
   Coace® W5A serves as a high-performance adhesive for specific laminate structures, offering strong bonding under various processing conditions.
