W1A-5 is an anhydride modified polyolefin elastomer with high graftingrate, which has low glass transition temperature.
Our PA Impact Modifiers are designed to provide polyamides exceptional impact resistance and flexibility. These modifiers generate a dual-phase system inside the PA matrix by including an anhydride-modified polyolefin elastomer, where the elastomeric phase efficiently absorbs and dissipates impact energy acting as a stress concentrator. This produces a material with a low glass transition temperature (Tg), therefore enabling a larger processing window and increased processability without compromising the basic characteristics of PA.
