COACE's W510 is a grafted product containing glycidyl methacrylate functional groups. The polyolefin elastomer is used as the base material. It has high reactivity, low residue, and a white to white translucent granular appearance.
W510 grafts GMA onto the side chain segment of the POE molecule, so that the side chain of the POE molecule carries polar functional groups. During the polyester toughening modification process, the epoxy on GMA can react with the ester groups on the polyester molecular chain to connect them together, helping POE to disperse in the polyester to form an island structure, thereby achieving polyester toughening. tough.
Experimental tests show that the impact strength and elongation at break of PBT and PET modified by adding W510 filling are significantly improved, and the materials modified by adding W510 show good toughness.
This means that PBT and PET products modified with W510 are more resistant to external impacts, greatly enhancing the safety and durability of the products.
