High Grafting Rate Compatibilizer for Polyolefin and Polyester Alloys

Coace ® W5D is an glycidyl methacrylate modified polyolefin elastomer with highgrafting rate.
In alloy systems, our specialty polymer additive, High Grafting Rate Compatibilizer, greatly increases interfacial adhesion between polyolefin and polyester phases. Using the special qualities of GMA, our compatibilizer guarantees a homogeneous mix, therefore improving mechanical qualities and processability.
One such a novel offering is COACE® W5D. It boasts a high grafting rate and uses Glycidyl Methacrylate Modified Polyolefin Elastomer (GMA-POE), therefore offering until unheard-of performance. Effectively grafting glycerol methacrylate (GMA) onto the molecular chain of polyolefin elastomer yields COACE® W5D a grafting rate of over 90%. Strong cross-links between polymer chains guaranteed by high grafting rate greatly enhance the material's general performance.
