High Content of Epoxy Groups Compatibilizer for PC ABS

Coace ® BDC is a chemical modified styrene polymer with high content of epoxy groups.
Designed for PC (polycarbonate) and ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene- styrene copolymers, BDC is a high-content epoxy group compatibility agent. This compatibility agent helps to greatly increase the compatibility and processing performance of PC/ABS alloy, so enhancing the mechanical strength, heat resistance, and processing efficiency of the resultant product.

Characteristic

1. High content of epoxy groups: This compatibility agent increases the compatibility between the two by means of efficient reaction with PC and ABS molecular chains to generate stable chemical bonds.
2. Excellent compatibility: By means of a distinctive chemical structure design, this compatibility agent may provide a homogeneous interface layer between PC and ABS, thereby lowering phase separation and enhancing material performance generally.
3. Add compatibilizer to greatly increase the melt fluidity of PC/ABS alloy, lower processing energy consumption, and prolong equipment lifetime.
4. Tensile strength, impact strength, and bending strength of the material are raised following the addition of this compatibility agent to PC/ABS alloy, so satisfying greater criteria in application conditions.
5. Compatibilizer not only improves the mechanical characteristics of the material but also increases its heat resistance and chemical resistance, therefore qualifying it for high temperature conditions and very corrosive situations.
