Polyolefin elastomers are specialised materials that increase the impact resistance and toughness of PA6 polymers. They are created by grafting anhydride functional groups onto a polyolefin elastomer backbone. This alteration improves the compatibility of the elastomer with the PA6 matrix, resulting in better dispersion and adherence within the polymer blend.
High Grafting Rate: The Anhydride Modified Polyolefin Elastomer has a high grafting rate of anhydride functional groups onto the polyolefin backbone. This creates a strong link between the impact modifier and the PA6 resin, resulting in improved performance attributes.
